Once Upon a Time: so many questions remain unanswered.

Season three has almost entirely been focused on Neverland. I’ve liked this arc so far, however, I wish they would check in more with the others as well. You have a few huge cliffhangers that have not be addressed and it feels like we’ve just forgot about them.

First of all, you have the whole drama between Mulan/Aurora/Phillip. Mulan was ready to admit her true feelings when Aurora gave her the shock of a lifetime. I really hope we address this storyline again. Mulan leaves heartbroken and joins Robin Hood’s troop. Will Mulan ever get to admit her true feelings and how will Aurora/Phillip feel about Mulan leaving them?

Speaking of Robin Hood, Robin Hood is apparently Regina’s true love. When/How will they ever meet? That whole arc seemed like one and done. I’m curious how they will continue with that. I feel like it wouldn’t be too popular with fans if they ever got together, but you never know.

Ruby and Dr. Whale have been noticeably absent from Storybrooke for a while. How will there absences be explained? Ruby was mentioned in Dark Hollow suggesting she’s still alive somewhere. Maybe her and Dr. Whale ran away together. Who knows. Also, Cora faked Archie’s death with someone else. Will we ever learn who that was? Could it be one of them? I’d have to re-watch season 2 to see if they were seen after this episode. My guess would be that they would be so this theory would not work.

So those are some questions I have right now. Bye for now, folks.

Once Upon a Time: Regina’s got sass.

Last week’s Once Upon a Time episode was great in my opinion. I absolutely loved seeing all the old Storybrooke characters and I really hope we see more of them this season. I was kind of wary about Ariel originally since she’s such an iconic character, but I really like how she’s being portrayed. The Little Mermaid allusions were great. It was so nice to get away from Neverland. I can’t wait to leave. If Charming actually has to stay there forever, I don’t know what I’ll do.

I love Lana Parrilla’s sass this season. It’s perfect. Since she’s not the villain in this arc, her sass still gives her character an edge. Sometimes it’s hard to take all the fairytale stuff too seriously. Regina and Emma’s sarcastic comments brings us back to reality, compared to characters like Snow White and Charming who can be sort of corny at times. The blend of the two is what really makes the show. You have all the fairytale characters and then the others who bring the story back to the present. For example, I found the lighter comment pretty amusing with Neal saying, “Welcome to the 21st century” and Ariel having no idea what a gun was. You have to establish who the fairytale characters are and how they live their lives compared to those who aren’t from the Enchanted forest or have been more accustomed to mainstream life. I appreciate how they establish the difference which makes the fairytale characters a little corny since that’s how they’re portrayed in real life fairytales.

So, for the last few episodes of the year, I hope we see more of Regina/Rumple team. They’re hilarious together. There’s just so much sass and bad ass there. It’s great. I was happy to see the dwarfs again and I would still really like to see a dwarf centered episode sometime this season. We need to learn more about team 7. Also, I hope they address the Phillip/Aurora/Mulan arc and tell us what happened with the Wraith. Okay, I’ll be back again after Sunday’s episode and we’ll see how it all pans out.

Neverending Land of Neverland

There is a light at the end of the tunnel for the gang to finally leave Neverland AND NEXT WEEK WE FINALLY GO BACK TO STORYBROOKE. I might be a little too excited for this, but we haven’t really seen our friends back home since season 2. Team 7 will be back along with Belle and the rest of the folks back home. We’ll get to see how they’re handling their fearless leaders’ absence. I’m curious to see how life is going. Are they accepting life in Storybrooke or are they attempting to find a way home themselves? Are they bitter towards the gang for abandoning them or do they understand? So many possibilities.

I really enjoyed the majority of last week’s episode. Hook’s confession was perfection as well as Emma’s. I love how we able to see Hook’s true character and really understand how he became the person he is today. I don’t really know how I feel about Hook and Emma together. I can’t ever picture it lasting, but I also can’t picture Hook with anyone else (except myself… just kidding… sort of).

Regina and Rumple’s partnership is going to be good. These two are my favorite characters. Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle portrays these characters so well. It is absolutely unbelievable. I can’t even begin to explain how fabulous I think they are. They are complete bad asses with that hint of sass that makes them perfect.

Someone suggested to me recently of a Regina/Rumple power couple. That’s too complicated for me. Imagine how that changes Henry’s family tree and if Hook/Emma get together. This show is like a mini soap opera in the family tree department. I also prefer Rumple with Belle, so yeah.

Once Upon a Time can be pretty corny at times, but that’s part of the reason I enjoy the show if that makes any sense at all. The ‘corniness’ of the flashback scenes play to its fairytale nature. I really can’t help but laugh at some of the Snow/Charming scenes// I mean, some of them are so over exaggerated. Snow White is sort of getting on my nerves as well. I can’t quite take her serious anymore and her deep dark secret seemed to nice. It was just kind of lame and I was expecting a lot more. She’s just too nice and perfect all the time, it’s getting kind of corny. Then again, that does make sense for her character so I’m sort of neutral.

So that’s my thoughts so far after watching last week’s episode of Once Upon a Time. I’ll be back again next week and we’ll see how all of this pans out.

Once Upon a Time in Neverland?

So, Season 3 of Once Upon a Time has been predominately set in Neverland so far. While I am really enjoying this arc, I miss seeing the other characters as well. I really hope we can see what’s happening in Storybrooke right now. Their leaders have left them there without ever saying goodbye and only Belle can explain the situation to them. They’re also all stuck away from their true home and their only real chance of returning home was with the people who abandoned them. I really want to see how they are holding up and how they feel about the situation. Are they accepting their new lives in Storybrooke or trying to come with their own new plan to return back to the Enchanted Forest? It seems like the show just abandoned the rest of their characters and are only focusing on the stars. Also, I really want to see more of Mulan/Phillip/Aurora saga. You have this whole new twist and then fail to come back to that. You just can’t leave me hanging like that. Not cool.

I’m also curious where the writers are going to go with the show after Neverland. Apparently, Charming can no longer leave, but I can’t imagine the show set in Neverland forever. It’s just getting old fast. I just want them to find Henry/Neal/Rumple and leave. I’m just getting bored and want something new.

Well, that’s my Once Upon a Time rant for today. Let’s see how Sunday’s episode pans out… (ha).

OUAT Season 3

I absolutely loved Sunday night’s episode of Once Upon a Time. I thought it was incredible well-written and I loved all the sassy comments. Filet the bitch was classic. I also enjoyed how they addressed the ridiculousness that is the Charming family. I seriously laughed at the “We’re the same age” part for over 5 minutes. The writers were like we know this is super unrealistic, and we can make fun of it too. I thought the episode flowed well, however nothing really surprised me. I knew the boy was going to be Peter from the beginning. I wish they had at least shown a little bit of what’s happening in Storybrooke, but they’ve only got an hour time slot.

Some of the many lingering questions I hope to be addressed in Season 3:

1. Will the wraith come back this season? I wonder if Prince Phillip will ever get his soul back. I want to see more of his character.
2. Will they address Mulan’s affection for Phillip at all? They sorted of alluded back to it last episode when Neal was talking about being too afraid of rejection. You could tell Mulan knew that feeling.
3. Will we ever find out who Cora killed instead of Archie? This one is still really bothering me. Someone died and I want to know who it was.
4. Will we ever see more of the Dr. Whale/Ruby romance that was shown starting to bubble? Where are they?
5. Is Greg dead? We all know Tamara is gone, but Greg only had his shadow stolen. Does that make him dead or something else?
6. Can we have a dwarf backstory episode? We know Grumpy’s, but I want to learn more about all of them: how they came together and how they each got their names.
7. Will Regina/Hook get a love interest this season? Hook seems to “fancy” Emma, and since she thinks Neal’s dead something is possible there. They’ll be trouble when Neal returns though. Maybe Hook will move on to Regina then? I can’t imagine Hook as Henry’s step-dad though. That’d be weird.

That’s all for now folks, Goodbye.

Finding Neverland

Tonight’s the season premiere Once Upon a Time (and the series finale of Breaking Bad, but that’s a totally different story). I can’t help but be incredibly excited for this premiere. There are so many different directions for this show to go in and some many stories that still need to be addressed. We left off with our friends boarding the Jolly Roger off to Neverland. Obviously, it won’t e smooth sailing, but they are confined to such small quarters they won’t be able to kill each other. Maybe, this will spark some new friendships or maybe romances? Captain Hook is beautiful… I mean who couldn’t agree with that. Regina and Emma are both single and so is he… In reality, I’m not sure how I would feel about either of them with him. It’s hard to imagine Regina in a relationship for some reason. I don’t know. Henry already has too many parental figures in his life. We don’t need anymore complications.

I really hope we still see a lot of Storybrooke this season. I love some of the characters still left there. I have a soft spot for the dwarves since they’re so chill on twitter. I really hope we get to see more of them. We also have Belle who was once again separated from Mr. Gold. She’ll need to make some new friends in Storybrooke to keep her mind off of him. Speaking of the dwarves again, I’m really hoping for a Grumpy/Blue Fairy reunion, but I like Grumpy as Grumpy and not dreamy. I also still miss Stealthy he was chill. We should have a dwarf backstory episode that goes through all of there backstories. Why Sneezy’s always sneezing and how Happy could always be so happy. Je ne sais pas. I’m just super excited this show is coming back. It just makes a Disney fan like me pretty happy.

Bye for now.

What I’d Like to See on Once Upon a Time

As you can probably tell, I’m a big Once Upon a Time fan. I just really enjoy the characters. I think all the actors portray their parts perfectly especially Robert Carlyle and Lana Parrilla. I’m also a big fan of Gabe Khouth since he’s the coolest. I also really enjoy the writing. I love how all the drama is intertwined with sarcastic remarks and other comedic bits. There are however, a few things I would love to see in Once Upon a Time. It’s not much, but I would love to see it.

Not only am I a OUAT fan, I’m also a huge Disney fan. I love all the movies, but more so I love all the songs. I would absolutely love to see more Disney songs have their own cameos in OUAT. There have been a few so far, like the Seven Dwarfs humming Heigh Ho and Snow White humming With a Smile and a Song. I would love to see more music incorporated in this way. I love looking for the small details in shows and it makes watching episodes over more fun. MORE MUSIC PLEASE.

I would also like to see more Disney characters introduced in the show. I would love to see Aladdin, Rapunzel, Tinkerbell, Tarzan/Jane, Mowgli, and some Lion King reference. What would be absolutely amazing if they could somehow get one of the voice actors of one to the characters to play one of the characters on the show. Let’s get James Woods to play Hades, please. He already stared in Once Upon a Time in America. Close Enough. We could also try to get Scott Weigner to play Aladdin. If he looks familiar, you might know him as Steve from Full House. I can’t wait to see what characters we’ll meet next season and think it would be hilarious if one of the voice actors played their own character.
Like I said, I love the small details, I hope they make more allusions to other shows/Disney things. I love all the hidden Lost references and Disney ones. I think it would be cool if they reference the character’s personal lives as well. They have done this in NCIS before and I will write a post about this in the next few days. It’s really funny when you can pick out the references out of the dialogue. It makes you feel proud of yourself. Props to the writers for being awesome.

Well, that’s it for now. Please leave some comments. What songs/characters would you like to see next season? Anything please. Thanks!

Once Upon a Time: Season 3 Questions…

I haven’t had much luck on twitter today, so I decided to use today’s post to talk about my questions for season 3 of Once Upon a Time. I am so excited for the new season. This show keeps getting better and better!

Question 1: Who did Cora actually kill instead of Archie? For the latter part of this season I have ben anxiously waiting to figure out who Cora actually killed, yet I don’t believe we ever found out. It’s not really important, but it had to be someone. I wonder if we’ll ever find out.

Question 2: When the gang heads through the portal on their quest to Neverland will they look the same or will they revert back to how they look in Storybrooke? Will Rumpelstiltskin look like a human or a monster. Will Regina and Snow have long hair or short hair? I’m personally hoping they look the same, but still have the flashbacks like previous seasons. Actually, now that I think about it. Snow looked the same when she and Emma went through the portal. I guess it’s Rumpelstiltskin who I’m most intrigued about then. I don’t know. Now, this seems like a dumb question but I wrote a lot so I’ll leave it.

Question 3: What will happen in Storybrooke now that all the main characters are gone. How will they react to them leaving them all there? Why didn’t they take everyone? Wasn’t that the initial plan? I didn’t really get that part. Also, how will they eventually gt back to Storybrooke? Rumbelle can’t be separated forever. A lot of people will be very sad.

Question 4: Is Captain Hook ever going to get a love interest? I mean Regina is single and Emma thinks her boyfriend is dead. That would add a nice little storyline when the find Neal alive… Hint. Hint. Hook is beautiful. All the women must be swooning over him. I know I am.

Question 5: How much are Aurora, Mulan, and Philip going to be on this season. Now, that Neal is with them, I’m guessing we’re going to learn about them. They’ll probably go on their own soul searching advernture… literally to find Philip’s soul. I’m hoping they’re focused on more. I really like those characters, especially Mulan and Philip.

That’s all I can think of now. I know I have a lot more and will probably think of one right after I post this. If you have any other questions or theories, feel free to post them. Answer any one of my questions too please!

Heigh ho. Heigh ho. It’s off to tweet, I go.

So, here’s an update on my quest to learn the favorite colors of all 7 dwarfs on Once Upon a Time. I have currently gotten a reply from 5 of the 7 with 4 being favorite colors. Lee Arenberg (Grumpy) has replied to me while Michael Coleman (Happy), Faustino Di Bauda (Sleepy), Jeffrey Kaiser (Dopey), and Gabe Khouth (Sneezy). All of the actors are really nice when replying on twitter and most have had very created responses and/or have favorited my tweets. Gabe Khouth’s was my personal favorite and he seems like a really chill dude. I am still attempting to get replies from Mig Macario (Bashful) and David-Paul Grove (Doc). Will I ever learn all seven colors? The world may never know.

One of my goals: Favorite Colors of the Seven Dwarfs

ImageOnce Upon a Time is easily one of my favorite shows. Luckily, the majority of the actors and actresses on the show are also on twitter. As much as I’d love a reply from all of them, I know that is not possible. One of my more realistic goals is to learn the favorite colors of all seven dwarfs on the show. So far, I have gotten replies by 4 of them with 3 telling me their favorite colors. I would highly recommend following them on twitter if you are not already. They all happen to be very nice and often give very interesting replies which I will go into detail on later. The seven dwarfs are played by:
Doc: David-Paul Grove (@DavidPaulGrove)
Grumpy: Lee Arenberg (@leearenberg)
Happy: Mike Coleman (@1MichaelColeman)
Sneezy/Mr. Clark: Gabe Khouth (@gabekhouth)
Bashful: Mig Macario (@MigMacario)
Sleepy: Faustino Di Bauda (@FaustinoDiBauda)
Dopey: Jeffrey Kaiser (@JeffreyEKaiser)
